Turbocharged & Raring To Go

The all-new GR Yaris Rally has a 1.6 turbocharged engine that is compact, lightweight, and responsive, making it the world’s most powerful three-cylinder engine, and the smallest and lightest 1.6 turbo. The engine delivers an impressive rally-inspired 215kW of power, and when in gear, the GR Yaris Rally can go from zero to 100 kilometres in 5.5 seconds. The vehicle comes with a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission model, produces a maximum torque of 390 Nm, and can reach a top speed of 230 kilometres an hour.

The GR-Four all-wheel drive system is designed to optimise driving power to each wheel, while the driving experience remains simple and lightweight. The distribution of torque between the front and rear axles is governed by a high response coupling, but the driver is always in control – the driver can adjust the four-wheel drive performance to suit their preference or the driving situation by simply using a 4WD mode dial switch. All senses, suitably engaged.

Never In Doubt, Always On The Go

The all-new GR Yaris Rally comes with a myriad of drive support systems which aim to keep the driver secure, and the experience truly Gazoo Racing-inspired. The vehicle comes with Front and Rear Park Distance Control (PDC) that scans for stationary objects, an Intelligent Clearance Sonar*, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert* system. Hill Assist Control (HAC) which prevents the car from rolling when pulling off on an incline, as well as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) which keeps the vehicle stable for optimum driver safety at all times. The Drive Mode Select empowers the driver to choose the drive they want, and Lane Trace Assist* ensures that the vehicle remains centred in lane, when required, for a safer drive. And when the driver wants to enjoy the purest Gazoo Racing-inspired atmosphere, Active Noise Control* reduces noise for a quieter, and more enjoyable drive. *Available on GR Yaris Rally 8AT model.

With ABS, excess brake pressure is modulated to allow for continued tyre rotation under extreme braking conditions, where excessive pressure would ordinarily lock the brakes and induce a skid, eliminating the ability to turn and prolonging the braking distance.

The design of the all-new GR Yaris Rally can only be described as low, wide, dramatic, and ultimately aerodynamic. Employing Toyota-first techniques and materials such as a unique block, bespoke pistons, and a single-scroll ball-bearing turbo, weight is reduced and drivability enhanced, for a Gazoo Racing-inspired experience behind the wheel.

The all-new GR Yaris Rally is uniquely styled; however, it is still distinctly Toyota Gazoo Racing inspired. With a three-door body and a roof which has been lowered by 91mm, as well as frameless doors, the all-new GR Yaris Rally has an eye-catching coupe silhouette. It comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, unmatched on any road, and it has a rear spoiler and carbon-fibre reinforced Polymer roof, which both make a statement, even before the engine is engaged.
