The new Corolla Cross is the perfect mix of power, performance and reliability to put you in charge, whether it’s the daily school run, hurrying down the highway, or a road trip to your favourite holiday spot.

Models include the powerful, yet ultra-economical 1.8-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 103 kW at 6400 r/min. As well as the self-charging hybrid model which develops 72 kW at 5200 r/min, with an additional 90 kW available from its electric motor throughout the rev range.

Both engines power the front wheels through a smooth select-and-forget CVT transmission so that all you need to do is enjoy the ride.

For complete driver control, the all-new Corolla Cross is equipped with MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam at the rear, for sure-footed handling and extra load-carrying ability. This SUV is comfortable both on-road and off-road, offering you the choice of either a petrol or Hybrid engine.

Up front it boasts an integrated geometric bumper, as well as newly designed LED headlights with sequential turn signals. In the rear, the fitment of an inner lens* adds definition and a more striking visual look, and roof rails to give the vehicle the extra edge.

Both the Xi and XS models are fitted with stylish 17-inch alloy wheels, with XR and GR-Sport models showing off 18-inch alloy wheels as an additional extension of their exclusivity.

The interior of the GR-Sport is equally stylish, finished with distinctive leather seats with the GR badges impeccably stitched onto them, as well as quality red stitching finishes, and centre console stitching. That’s not all; on the outside the GR-Sport is fitted with an aggressive front grille, bold 18-inch black alloy wheels, a black roof and much, much more.

As the first-ever Toyota hybrid manufactured in South Africa, the new Corolla Cross carries on the tradition with the new Corolla Cross Hybrid. The dual-engine powerhouse combines petrol and electric to ensure that you get everything you need out of your vehicle, with the added benefits of more kilometres per tank and fewer CO2 emissions. Our hybrid technology automatically manages the outputs of the petrol engine and electric motor to optimise efficiency, resulting in an average fuel consumption of just 4.3ℓ/100km.

Just as for you, safety in not optional at Toyota. Every time you head out in the new Corolla Cross, be it around the neighbourhood or further afield, we want you to feel completely secure and protected.

To ensure this, the new Corolla Cross is fitted with SRS driver, passenger, side and driver knee airbags, as well as curtain airbags on certain models.
