- Has a Study Assistance Scheme for those studying toward tertiary and professional-institution
qualifications.
- Multi-Skilling Programme, designed to improve the skills of employees in the different
job categories they perform,
- Adult Basic Education programme.
For prospective employees and/or young trainees
- The Toyota Technical Education Programme (T-TEP) – an established and highly successful
apprentice training programme.
- The Toyota Institute for Technical Education and Training is central to the programme,
which provides an attractive and lucrative career path for young people, while promoting
loyalty to the dealer network and to Toyota.
- More than R3-million is allocated to the programme each year.
- A total of 12 educational institutions, including one in Botswana, benefit from
T-TEP, which was launched in 1990.
