The Toyota RiN concept focuses on increased comfort, and serene and healthy living.
It strives to accomplish this through a relationship between the driver and the
vehicle whereby the drivers of the RiN are encouraged to re-evaluate themselves
and turn their attention to society and nature and thus derive a healthy rhythm
for both mind and body.
To achieve this. the RiN has seats that help maintain a good posture for the back.
Image displays aligned with the psychological state of the driver are projected
within the meter-cluster of the “mood-training” steering control.
The comfortable seats are heated and interior features include an oxygen level conditioner
and pinpoint humidifier. Green glass that reduces the infiltration of ultra-violet
and infra-red light is used and this contributes to making the surroundings seem
brighter and clearer to increase cabin comfort.
The overall impression is one of harmony with the environment. Sliding doors with
a low window height allow occupants to view the natural surroundings at virtually
ground level. The colour scheme contrasts deep green with beige to enrich the complexions of the occupants and promote a feeling of
mental and physical well-being.
