For those looking for more spacious and luxury family transportation, Toyota displayed
the Toyota FT-MV, an all-new mini-van concept vehicle that appears to be nearly
production ready. Of all the concept vehicles on display this is the one that is
tipped to be first to be translated into a production vehicle, at least for the
Japanese domestic market.
This latest minivan concept from Toyota varies from Toyota’s traditional styling
for this type of vehicle with distinctly angular looks, heavily flared fenders,
and a pronounced grille and bonnet line. The interior boasts luxurious features
such as fully automatic ottomans for the second row of seats and soft ambient lighting
for an elegant space. Rear seat passengers have individual video monitors.
No technical details on this vehicle or any plans for future production were released
by TMC for this model.
